The family of Joan Scott would like to thank everyone for their kind words following Mum's sad passing. She was particularly grateful to Linda for her kindness and compassion in her last few weeks.
There is to be a funeral service at St Margaret's Church on Friday the 8th January at 12.45 followed by a cremation at Vinters at 2.45pm. Regrettably, due to the limitations of covid, both services are for family only. We plan to have a memorial service for Mum at some later stage when, hopefully, Covid will not be such a problem.
We request only family flowers for the service. However, anyone wishing to make a donation in Mum's memory can choose to support either the Heart of Kent Hospice which can be done via Viner’s obituary page (where you can also post any messages or photographs) or to send a donation to Nick Scott at West Bank these donations will be used to provide a lasting memorial to Mum at St Margaret's Church.
Many thanks to you all and best wishes for 2021

Breast Cancer Kent
We would like to send a big thank you to everyone who has supported the ‘Breast Cancer Kent’ charity.
We are thrilled that, despite our not being able to have our coffee morning in September, we have raised over £1300 by kind donations and the purchasing of honey.
Thank you from Chris and Jane
BART Community support
We are revising our scheme in BART to help people who may be self-isolating (having to stay at home because of the Coronavirus) or who may just need a helping hand.
Our team of volunteers can offer help with:
- Collecting food shopping
- Getting urgent supplies and prescriptions
- Posting mail or running errands
- A friendly phone call to check you are ok
