Helen Cooke, the speaker at the first meeting of the new year, gave an inspiring and most thought provoking talk on the subject of ‘Something New’. We also enjoyed some members’ recollections of their own wedding day and the ‘something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue’ which formed part of the celebrations.
The speaker at the next meeting, to be held at 2.00pm in Ryarsh Church Hall on Thursday, 6th February, will be Nathan Tough, speaking on behalf of the charity ‘Porchlight’, Kent’s largest charity for homeless and vulnerable people. Porchlight exists for people who have nowhere to go and no-one to turn to - some of whom are living on the streets, and others who are need of support to prevent or resolve any issues that could put them at risk of homelessness.
All ladies are very welcome!
Flix on Fridays

We meet in the Church Room at Addington church at 7.00 for a 7.15 prompt start. Refreshments are provided.
