BART Women's Fellowship
BART Women’s Fellowship It was a great pleasure to welcome back the Reverend Struan Dunn, Rector of the BART parishes from 1983 – 1991, to our February meeting. Many members remember Struan and Sylvia, his wife, and family, with great affection. Under his chosen title of ‘A Splash of Words’, Struan shared with everyone his love of poetry, the bible – particularly the beautiful words of the psalms – and the King James bible. He concluded by reading some of his own poignant and haunting poems.
The speaker at our next meeting - to be held at 2.00pm in Ryarsh Church Hall on Thursday, 7th March will be Julia Smith. Julia will be speaking about the Hospice Movement in general and the Heart of Kent Hospice in particular – a subject close to all our hearts.
