BART Women’s Fellowship

The speaker at our next meeting to be held in Ryarsh Church Hall at 2.00pm on Thursday, 5th March, will be Lisa Nissen.  Under her chosen title of ‘Mindful Making’, Lisa will be exploring how we use our creative gifts to explore our faith.

The speaker at February’s meeting, was Nathan Tough, speaking on behalf of  ‘Porchlight’, Kent’s biggest charity for the homeless. The charity exists for people who have nowhere to go and no-one to turn to. With a twenty four hour, 365 days a year manned telephone helpline, Porchlight staff responded to 27,447 calls from people across Kent in 2019. During the same period, the charity provided support to 649 rough sleepers – one in five of whom is female
