BART Women's Fellowship

women

At the April meeting of BART Women’s Fellowship we were due to hear Helen Cooke speaking about “The Hands of Christ”. However, on the Monday before the Thursday meeting.

Helen’s husband, Nigel, was summoned to St. Thomas’ Hospital, London for a long awaited heart operation. Helen, who had already prepared her talk, contacted Brenda Hurd who gallantly offered to read Helen’s talk. So we heard the words of Helen through Brenda’s voice.

It was a splendid liaison – and members received a fantastic, encouraging message through the co-cooperation of the dynamic duo.

Red Alert : Due to essential repair works on the roof of Ryarsh Church Hall, the next meeting of BART Women’s Fellowship has been postponed to the second Thursday of the month, and will now take place at 2.00pm in the Church Hall on Thursday, May 9th .

The speaker will be the Reverend Mark Montgomery who lives on Kings Hill, who will be speaking about “A Church without Walls”.
