‘Birling Blend’ Apple JuiceApples

Many thanks to all those who donated apples for this year’s apple juice. A good mix of Bramleys and eating apples was delivered to Owlets Fruit Farm in Lamberhurst on Monday 17th September and the juice will be available at the beginning of October. One litre bottles of pasteurised juice will be £2.75 each with proceeds helping to improve facilities at All Saints Birling and will be on sale at the Birling Café on Saturday 20th October.

BART Women's Fellowship

The speaker at the next meeting of BART Women’s Fellowship in Ryarsh Church Hall at 2.00pm on Thursday, November, 1st, will be Sue Lobban.  Sue is one of our own. She and her husband, Tony, moved to Birling in 2016, and Sue is now the BART GDPR officer and Ryarsh PCC Secretary.

Sue has chosen as the title of her talk ‘Make every Day Count’. She will be sharing her story of her battle and victory over bowel cancer. I think that Sue will prove to be a very enthusiastic and informative speaker on a subject we all need to hear about.
